Collector – FIRST YEAR OTE £26000
DEBT COLLECTOR

The Role:
As a debt collector, you will be responsible making outgoing calls to private individuals to arrange payment on behalf of clients, setting up repayment schedules for repayment over the shortest period of time, review the accounts payable to negotiate higher payment amounts and taking incoming calls in response to outgoing correspondence.
Experience within an outbound call centre based working environment would be preferable although a significant degree of induction and ongoing training would be provided. Applicants are expected to be fairly numerate, with GCSE Maths at Grade C or better. The team works a shift pattern, alternating 9am to 5pm and 11am until 8pm. You would be expected to work 1 Saturday per month from 9am to 3pm.

• From a call centre*financial background would be an advantage OR credit control from other industries will be considered?
The Company:
A well-known financial organisation established in 1983 and has grown gradually to current fee revenue of over £2m and around 40 employees.

A basic salary £13,000 to £18,000 would be offered depending on ability and experience. Employees that have completed a period of training and experience gathering would be included in a generous “group target” bonus structure plus several individual monthly targets, which for individuals that perform consistently well would result in a year 1 annual salary of £17,000 to £26,000.
